Although there are now official x86_64 builds of OpenOffice.org, due to them
being rather new and relatively untested, the recommended way to run
OpenOffice.org is to run the 32-bit OpenOffice.org, with Java support
disabled.

The recommended way to do this is to use the SlackBuild script on
http://www.slackbuilds.org to repackage the 32-bit binaries, linked
from on the SlackBuilds.org site, settings DISABLE_JAVA=YES when
running the SlackBuild - for example:

chmod 755 openoffice.org.SlackBuild
DISABLE_JAVA=YES ./openoffice.org.SlackBuild
